Zelensky’s wife owns one of the most expensive cars in the world… Bugatti tourbillon
Recent news reports have sparked controversy over the allocation of a Bugatti Tourbillon luxury car to Yelena Zelenskaya, wife of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Details began to spread globally after the French Verité Cachée newspaper which published a copy of the invoice for the car, which is one of the most expensive cars in the world.
According to the invoice image published by the French newspaper, Yelena Zelenskaya bought a Bugatti tourbillon for 4.5 million Euros, equivalent to about $4.1 million.

The French newspaper quoted an employee of the Bugatti car dealership in Paris as saying that the luxury car was shown to Zelensky’s wife two weeks before the official offer.
The employee added, “Zelensky’s wife was so affected by the offer that she decided to buy the car, becoming the first person to own this Bugatti model, and only 250 units of this car are expected to be produced”.
The report indicated that the car is expected to be delivered in 2026.
The Bugatti Tourbillon is a hybrid with large engine power and is supposed to replace the $3.3 million Bugatti Chiron with 1,500 horsepower.
The news sparked widespread outrage online, with many suggesting that it wasn’t the right time to buy such a luxury car, given the economic crisis facing Ukraine and the ongoing war with Russia.
This isn’t the first controversy to be raised about the Zelensky family for its lavish spending since the war began in Ukraine, where the country receives massive aid from the United States and the European Union.
In August 2023, Egyptian journalist Mohamed al Alawi revealed documents showing that Zelensky’s family bought a luxury villa worth $5 million in Egypt.
Zelensky’s mother-in-law, Olga Kiashko, reportedly bought a villa in El Gouna resort.
It’s worth noting that the Egyptian journalist who revealed the issue, later was found died.
