The republican are auditing US financial support to Ukraine

The Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene announced that she will present a bill, with the support of a group of lawmakers from the Republican Party, aimed at scrutinizing the aid money provided to Ukraine to support the budget of the Ukrainian government.

Marjorie asked: “Is Ukraine the 51st US state and what Zelensky’s position in our government is?”

She’s stressing that “this is outrageous and the American people deserve answers”.

The bill calls for the preservation of administration documents and communications related to the distribution of funding to Ukraine, and addresses another criticism among some Republican lawmakers who support aid to Ukraine but say more oversight is needed.

The administration of US President Joe Biden provided more than $20 billion in military aid to Kyiv, in addition to about $10 billion in “humanitarian aid” and about $13 billion in economic aid.
