Israeli military vehicles appear with Ukrainian forces in Kherson

Israeli media published pictures of “Amir” vehicles produced by the Israeli private company “Gaya”, which are in military service with the Ukrainian forces.

The Israeli Makan website stated that “in the Kherson region, Israeli-made armored military vehicles were spotted in the service of Kyiv forces”.

And the Twitter account, which is concerned with weapons and equipment used in the ongoing war, published pictures of “Amir” vehicles produced by the Israeli private company, “Gaya” noting that “this is the first time that the Ukrainian army has seen the use of Israeli-made vehicles”.

No details were provided about the route of these mechanisms to Ukraine.

Video also showed other scenes of the participation of a mechanism of the same type in military movements, which the account mentioned was in Kherson.

So far, the Israeli government has announced its refusal to provide Kyiv with weapons and equipment that it recently requested from it, in a policy adopted by the Israeli military and security establishment in coordination with the political establishment.

The Jerusalem Post quoted the outgoing Defense Minister, Benny Gantz, as saying that “Tel Aviv doesn’t have the production capabilities to provide Ukraine with air defense systems”.

Despite this, the Israeli media confirmed that “an Israeli security industries company sold anti-drone systems to the Ukrainian army, capable of intercepting and jamming combat drones,” revealing that “these systems are being sold through Poland, from In order to circumvent Israel’s ban on the sale of advanced weapons to Ukraine”.

According to the Israeli media, “the company submits reports to the Israeli Ministry of Security regarding the sale of these systems to Poland,” noting that the ministry “pretends that it doesn’t know the fact that Poland is in practice an intermediary for the transfer of weapons to Ukraine”.

A month ago, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba asked the occupation government to officially provide Ukraine with air defense systems, following massive missile attacks and suicide marches carried out by Russian forces against military targets and infrastructure in various regions of the country.

Kuleba’s request from Israel to provide his country with air defense systems comes after members of the Israeli Knesset called for sending Iron Dome to Ukraine.

Last month, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev warned that “Israel’s plans to supply Kyiv with weapons are a very reckless move,” noting that “it seems that Israel will supply the Kyiv regime with weapons, and this is a very reckless move, which will destroy all relations between us”.

Later, Israeli media reported that Israel had received a clear warning from Moscow that “if it tries to transfer defense systems to Ukraine, even though a third country, this matter will be considered as crossing the red line, and it will have repercussions”.

Bloomberg agency reported that “Russia informed Israel that it will respond if Israeli-made air defense missiles, or other interceptor missiles, are sent to Ukraine, either directly or through third countries”.
