Two Turkish soldiers were killed in a mine explosion in northeastern Syria
On Friday evening, two Turkish soldiers were killed in a mine explosion on the outskirts of Tal Tamr in northeastern Syria.
The Turkish soldiers were about to lay mines at the separation border, but it appears that one of the mines exploded at them.
Tal Tamr is a city bordering between the Syrian army and the SDF on one side, and the Turkish army and the Syrian factions loyal to it on the other side.
Skirmishes occur from time to time in villages north of the town, but they do not amount to an attack.
