Trump: My only plan for 2026 is to stay alive!
US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that his goal for 2026 is simply to “stay alive,” as he put it.
Asked about his intentions for the coming year, particularly whether he planned to campaign or support any candidates, Trump simply said, “I want to stay alive”.
Trump described the current political situation as madness, expressing his concern about the rhetoric and positions of some Democrats, which he described as posing a real threat to the American political arena.
He added, “The rhetoric these crazy Democrats are using is extremely dangerous, and it has made politics more tense and dangerous, but we will keep working, and you will all be very satisfied with what we accomplish”.
It’s worth noting that the upcoming US midterm elections are scheduled to take place between April 7 and November 3, 2026.
These are important elections that determine the composition of the two chambers of the US Congress, and come two years after the presidential elections.
