US President Donald Trump has revealed plans to ask Saudi Arabia to increase its investments in the United States from $600 billion to $1 trillion.

Speaking at the Davos Economic Forum, Trump said he would ask Saudi Arabia, which had pledged to invest $600 billion, to increase that amount to $1 trillion.

Trump added during his participation in the forum via video conference that Saudi Arabia would be willing to do so, given the good relations between the two countries, referring to his conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, saying, “I think they will do it because we have been very good to them”.

Trump didn’t limit himself to talking about investments, but also called on Saudi Arabia to lower oil prices, considering that this measure could contribute to ending the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

He said, “If prices go down, the war will end immediately”.

Trump stressed that Saudi Arabia should have taken this step a long time ago.

The Saudi Crown Prince had expressed in a call with Trump the Kingdom’s desire to invest $600 billion in America over the next four years.

According to a White House statement, various topics were discussed during the call, such as stability in the Middle East, regional security, and strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.

On the other hand, Trump spoke about the achievements of his administration, stressing that in just four days his administration had achieved more than the administration of the current president, Joe Biden, had achieved in four years, noting that without his administration, the ceasefire agreement in Gaza wouldn’t have been concluded this week.
