The Wall Street Journal: Sensitive report on President Trump’s health
The Wall Street Journal revealed in a report based on interviews with President Donald Trump’s entourage, that he is showing signs of aging, both in public and private life.
The WSJ cited hearing challenges, with aides and confidants reporting that they often have to speak loudly in meetings with the president because he has difficulty hearing.
Trump himself admitted that he has trouble hearing the words when a lot of people are talking, stressing that it only happens sometimes.
The president also faces challenges with diet and sports, and the report stated that Trump doesn’t exercise regularly except for playing golf, and follows a diet rich in salty and fatty foods such as hamburgers and French fries.
The report pointed to Trump’s reliance on what he called good genes and noted that the president often ignores the advice of doctors, relying on what he calls “good genes”.
The report cited an incident in September 2025, when Trump was unable to hear a reporter’s question about whether he planned to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and asked, “What? What?” he turned to his wife, Melania, who repeated the question to him.
The report also states that Trump periodically insists on refuting rumors of his poor health and constantly emphasizes his exceptional physical and mental health, claiming that he works harder and longer hours than any president in the history of the United States.
