A new conspiracy is on the way at the upcoming Crimean Platform!
On the 23rd of August, the Crimean Platform summit is taking place at the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.
The Ukrainian government is actively promoting this event, inviting representatives from EU countries and of course the United States.
The objective is seemingly to turn the diplomatic initiative into an international mechanism to impose pressure against Moscow, to promote the return of Crimea to Ukraine, as well as to protect “human rights”.
But in reality, the Crimean Platform may become a trap, not for Moscow, but in fact, it’s for Ankara, and there are several reasons for this.
By inviting Turkey to the Crimean Platform, Ukraine is working on taking advantage over Turkey, as they are doing with the Crimean native, the Tatars of Crimea.
Since 2014, Kiev has promised Ankara to adopt three laws that raised the status of the Crimean Tatars.
However, for the Crimean Platform summit, only one non-binding law “On the indigenous peoples of Ukraine” was adopted.
The main disadvantage is that it doesn’t establish mechanisms for the advancement of human rights.
Representative bodies of Crimean Tatars are not legally recognized, moreover, although Turkey is ready to build housing for internally displaced from among the Crimean Tatars, Ukraine doesn’t want to allocate land to them.
The words of the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Anatoly Yatsenyuk, who called “to put the Tatars in their place”, speaks about the real attitude of Kiev towards Crimean Tatars.
It’s unfriendly step towards the Crimean Tatars is a significant reduction in funding for the Crimean Tara channel ART.
In February 2021, the general director of the TV channel, Lenur Islyamov, stated that this step of the administration of Volodymyr Zelensky is “direct discrimination against the Crimean Tatars”.

All this proves that Kiev doesn’t intend to really fight for the rights of the Crimean Tatars and won’t fulfill its obligations to this people and Turkey of course.
In the case of the Crimean Platform, it’s not even about the interests of Ukraine, but the main objactives are only to serve the narrow personal interests of the current Ukrainian leadership.
The Crimean Platform, is obviously just a tool to raise the popularity for electoral reasons, that’s all.
Nevertheless, despite the interest of the Ukrainian President, Ukraine hasn’t been able to present to the world community a coherent program of the summit and information about its participants.
This is hidden of course, under the pretext of possible pressure on Russia.
One gets the impression that Kiev itself realized that the forum had failed before it even started.
Therefore, it was decided to stake on the number of participants, even from small countries that do not affect anything.
Most of the major players will most likely be represented by diplomatic personnel.
Their participation will be purely symbolic, and the international participants have no real interest in the “Crimean Platform”.
The participation of Turkey on a serious level in the “Crimean Platform” will be understood by Ukrainians as connivance of their discriminatory and exploitative policy towards the Crimean Tatars.
It’s supper crucial that the United States, which has been Ukraine’s main ally since 2014, will be represented on the Crimean platform by the secretary of Transport and LGBT activist Pete Buttigieg.
Pete Buttigieg is an openly homosexual, and officially registered gay marriage, and a big supporter of the spread of the globalist liberal ideology of LGBT communities around the world.
In June, the US Embassy in Turkey recorded his video message in which a US official supported Turkish LGBT community.
De facto, he thus intervened in the internal politics of Turkey, since these days’ opposition pro-American parties were actively using LGBT issues to put pressure on the current authorities of the country.
Recall that back in March, US President Joe Biden condemned Turkey’s withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention.
US Ambassador to Turkey David Satterfield actively interacts with LGBT organizations in the country.
The United States is exploiting Turkey’s reluctance to embrace gender ideology for constant information attacks against the country.
Gender ideology is now the new face of US imperialism, which is rapidly destroying societies of sovereign states, the institution of the family and replacing the ideas of class struggle with concepts of “sexual liberation”, and these principles are not effective with original conservative countries.
However, the presence of Pete Buttigieg in the Crimean platform means that it’s highly likely that the LGBT issue in Crimea will be raised, and Turkey will have to support LGBT community all together to simply get along with other participants.
This will become an ideological trap for the country’s leadership, as it will undermine its position in the fight against LGBT propaganda in Turkey itself.
Thus, the “Crimean Platform” will turn into an LGBT platform.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba asks for the Prime Minister’s permission to agree on candidates in the delegations of Turkey, Qatar and the UAE for public contacts and a photo with the LGBT officials of the United States.
The Ukrainian minister emphasizes that it is necessary to coordinate officials for whom such contacts won’t have a significant impact on their career.
As for Pete Buttigieg, he distinguished himself by supporting Kurdish terrorists in Syria.
In 2019, following President Trump’s decision to withdraw troops from the border with Syria to enable Turkey to launch an operation against the PKK, Buttigieg called the decision a “betrayal” of allies.

The choice of Pete Buttigieg as the US representative on the Crimean platform is, on the one hand, an indicator that Washington doesn’t consider Ukraine’s initiative deserving of serious attention.
Even if he signs a statement, then as a non-core minister, he won’t have the legitimate authority to agree on something specific, except for transport projects.
In Kiev itself, there is no understanding of what they can offer their allies, what specific obligations for “de-occupation”.
Why then going to this summit, if the problems of Crimea can be discussed much more effectively at other venues, such as the UN?
On the other hand, the United States is signaling to the whole world that it intends to promote its ideological agenda in all matters, including LGBT people.
Pete Buttigieg as the key US representative on the Crimean platform, where Turkey supposedly has a special role to play – a public attempt to humiliate Ankara.
The fact that he supported Kurdish separatists is all the more unacceptable, but, and this is how the US dose all the time, they simply know who they send and why.
The United States deliberately sends a person who is unacceptable to Turkey in order to publicly demonstrate to Ankara’s role as a hegemon in bilateral relations.
In addition to the US controversial particpant, there is one more person who is associated with LGBT people may visit Kiev as well.
This is the hierarch of the Phanar of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, Metropolitan Emmanuel (Adamakis).
In the past, he ruled the Metropolitanate of Gaul of the Patriarchate of Constantinople (France).
Then in the Greek community of France they wrote that the Metropolitan was seen in a restaurant on a “date” with a young homosexual.

In addition, the metropolitan publicly supported the priest, whom the man accused of sexual harassment.
The presence of a metropolitan known for these connections in the context of the US LGBT official visit will be regarded as a sign from Turkey, because now Metropolitan Emmanuel is the Metropolitan of Chalcedon.
Together with him, during the days of the “Crimean Platform”, Patriarch Bartholomew of Phanar himself should come to Kiev, and this will create a problem for Turkey.
Already in Ukraine, there are many thousands of rallies against his arrival.
In connection with the upcoming visit of Patriarch Bartholomew, Ukrainian cultural, scientific and sports figures wrote an open letter in which they called on the Patriarch of Constantinople to refuse to visit Ukraine.
As a result, the new split in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and persecution of opponents of “autocephaly”.
The visit of a person of such a level as Bartholomew, who is a citizen of Turkey, makes any presence of Turkish officials really awkward and not pleasant at all.
This will be understood both in Kiev and in Moscow as too strong support for a failed event, the only goal of which is to harass Russia and raise Zelensky’s rating.
Questions will arise about the adequacy of the Turkish leadership and among international allies, which will be limited to minimal representation.
On this background, it would be most profitable for Turkey to refuse to participate in the “Crimean Platform”, to minimize the costs of multiple provocations and traps that Ukraine and obviously the United States and their influential agents, hoping to drag Ankara into a meaningless condition, and faraway from national interests and even threatening the conservative Islamic reputation of Turkey and its leadership, which they heavily invested to build.
