In a report published on Sunday evening, Israel’s concerns about Saudi Arabia’s possession of nuclear weapons as well as the possibility of obtaining F-35 fighter jets, the Israeli Channel 12 revealed Israel’s fears of Saudi Arabia’s possession of nuclear weapons.

The Israeli defense establishment has also expressed concern that Israel could lose its air superiority, which has become clear during the two-year war on Gaza.

The US Air Force, in collaboration with Lockheed Martin, the maker of F-35 jets, recently completed a test of dropping a tactical nuclear bomb from its advanced stealth fighter.

The tests were conducted in the Nevada desert of the United States and were intended to adapt the aircraft’s nuclear capabilities.

Soon, owners of F-35s will be able to carry unconventional weapons, a huge advantage especially for countries that do not possess ballistic missiles.

In countries that lack missile capabilities, having these sophisticated aircraft could make up for the shortfall.

Israel fears that this new capability could lead to an arms race in the Middle East.

There is great concern that Saudi Arabia possesses nuclear capabilities, and in the event of a possible reversal, these destructive weapons could be directed against Israel.

According to the Channel 12’s report, the main concern is about undermining Israel’s security advantage in the region and leaking sensitive security technologies to China.

Trump administration officials told The Associated Press on Sunday that no deal is expected to be reached to sell F-35s to Saudi Arabia during the crown prince’s visit to Washington this week, and in the future, Türkiye may also obtain it.

Before the war, Saudi Arabia sought civilian nuclear technology, and Israel strongly opposed this possibility, and the United States blocked it.

Israel continues to follow this trend today, fearing the transfer of civilian nuclear energy from the United States to Saudi Arabia.

So far, it is unclear whether bin Salman will acquire nuclear power plant technology as part of the proposed agreements.

US foreign policy guarantees by law Israel’s military superiority over its neighbors.

This advantage is achieved thanks to the technology provided by the United States to Israel, which allows it to deter the armies of neighboring countries, which have a numerical advantage over Israel.

Trump said he was expected to speak with the Saudi crown prince about the possibility of Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords.

The president indicated that he was considering a Saudi request for F-35 fighter jets.

Israel demands that the agreement be conditional on Saudi Arabia signing normalization with Israel.

About a month ago, in an interview with Fox Business, Trump expressed optimism about the possibility of normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel, saying, “I think it’s soon; I won’t say it very soon… I hope to see Saudi Arabia join us”.
