Yedioth Ahronoth: Israeli military censorship reveals photos of Netanyahu’s residence after it was targeted by a Hezbollahdrone

Israeli military censorship has allowed the publication of photos showing the damage to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea, after it was attacked by a Hezbollah drone three days ago, according to a report in Yedioth Ahronoth.

The photos showed minor damage, with Netanyahu’s bedroom window damaged but the drone not penetrating the entire building.

Netanyahu said in a statement immediately after the attack, “The Iranian agents who tried to assassinate me today made a big mistake,” stressing that the attack wouldn’t deter him from continuing the war, and that anyone who harms Israelis would pay a heavy price”.

For his part, a Hezbollah spokesman claimed full responsibility for the attack on Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea.

Yedioth Ahronoth commented that Hezbollah took direct responsibility to deflect suspicion from Iran, while pointing to intelligence reports indicating Iranian involvement in the attack, including the involvement of officials from the Iranian embassy in Beirut.

Since the attack on Caesarea, orders have been issued to significantly increase security around Israeli ministers and government officials.
