The Washington Post team in the Idlib fronts

On Monday, October 25, a press delegation from the Washington Post visited the concentration points of the Hay’at Tahrir al Sham, south of Idlib, and a number of civilian sites and government departments in the province to cover various aspects of life in the areas under the control of HTS in northwest Syria.

Local sources said that a delegation consisting of several journalists affiliated with the Washington Post visited separate civilian and military sites in the countryside of Idlib governorate during the past 48 hours.

The purpose of the aforementioned press delegation’s visit was to prepare press reports on the various aspects of life in the areas controlled by HTS in northwest Syria.

The delegation was accompanied by a group of media activists at the Idlib Media Services Center specialized in coordinating the entry of foreign press delegations to Idlib Governorate, accompanying them and providing them with the necessary protection.

On Monday, the Idlib Media Services Center posted pictures on Telegram, which it said were part of the visit of the Washington Post delegation to Idlib governorate, where they conducted interviews with residents of the area to cover various aspects of civilian life in northern Syria.

On March 21, a press delegation from the New York Times visited northwest Syria, and several other sites in the city of Idlib and the city of Atarib in the western countryside of Aleppo.

In late January, the American journalist Martin Smith met with the leader of HTS, “Abu Muhammad al Julani”, during his stay in Idlib, he conducted a field tour and an interview with Julani that dealt with the most important stations and transformations regarding his faction, and various questions about the reality and the future.
