The Wall Street Journal: Arab gulf countries are pressuring Trump to prevent striking Iran
The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman have issued warnings to the administration of US President Donald Trump against launching a military attack against Iran.
The WSJ newspaper reported that Riyadh is leading a diplomatic front to persuade the White House not to strike Tehran.
Riyadh assured Tehran that it won’t allow the United States to use Saudi airspace to carry out any attack against it.
Trump has incited the continuation of the riots in Iran and the seizure of the country’s institutions, stressing that help is on the way, in an apparent reference to US support for the riots in the country.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also threatened Iran earlier, saying that Israel would not allow Iran to rebuild its ballistic program.
