The Ukrainian army: 3 soldiers killed and 18 others wounded in a Russian bombardment targeting a training camp
The Ukrainian army announced that at least three of its soldiers were killed and 18 others were wounded in a Russian missile attack that targeted a military training camp on Tuesday.
The Ukrainian army said in a Facebook post that “the enemy launched a missile strike on the territory of one of the ground forces’ training units,” resulting in “the death of three soldiers and the wounding of 18 others,” without specifying the location of the targeted training camp.
The post added that Russia launched six missiles and carried out 1,229 strikes with explosive-laden drones on Tuesday.
This bombing comes as US President Donald Trump gave his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin ten days, starting Tuesday, to end the conflict or face US sanctions.
On Monday night, 25 people, including a pregnant woman and 15 prisoners, were killed and 70 others injured in a Russian airstrike on a prison in the Zaporizhia region of southern Ukraine.
