The Screaming Eagles: The United State deploys its strongest military teams on the borders of Russia

The US media reported that Washington deployed the 101st Airborne Division to Europe to participate in military exercises, after the commander of the aforementioned division announced its readiness to enter Ukraine.
Washington took this step despite the assurances of the White House that American forces would not participate in the war.
CBS News reported that the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division arrived in Europe for the first time in 80 years, amid rising tension between Russia and NATO.
According to the network, the “Screaming Eagles” were trained to deploy to any battlefield in the world within hours.
CBS News also reported that a press team from its network escorted Deputy Division Commander John Lubas and 2nd Brigade Combat Team Commander Edwin Mathidis by helicopter for an hour to the farthest border of NATO, just three miles from Romania’s border with Ukraine.
The deputy division commander expressed his division’s readiness to fight, saying that if there is a military escalation or an attack on NATO, they are ready to fight, and they are fully prepared to cross the border and enter the territory of Ukraine.
“We’re ready to defend every inch of NATO territory,” he added.
Colonel Edwin Mathidis, commander of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, said that he and his forces were the closest US forces to fighting in Ukraine, and were closely watching Russian forces and setting targets for training.
The division has a strength of 4,700,000 soldiers, and they are stationed in Romania.
