Maduro: “Hitler’s spirit” is still haunting the world and America won’t succeed in imposing a colonial model on Venezuela to steal its natural resources
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said on Friday that “the spirit of Adolf Hitler is still roaming the world, hovering around world power”.
In a speech during a meeting with his deputies, which was shown on his official Telegram channel, Maduro explained that he visited the Russian capital, Moscow, last May, to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazism.
“The victory of the Red Army and the Soviet Union divided the history of mankind before and after Hitler’s brutality,” Maduro said during the meeting… The spirit of Hitler still roams the world, and it revolves around world power”.
The Venezuelan president stressed that the United States won’t be able to impose a colonial model on his country in order to steal its natural resources.
“It’s impossible for influential circles in the United States to create a virtual reality and impose on Venezuela the model of colonial domination with the aim of stealing its natural resources… This is impossible, because here are people who have shown enough ability to lead our country on the right track”.
He noted that the United States has failed to bet on some opposition leaders such as Leopoldo López, Juan Guaidó, and Maria Corina Machado”.
The United States justifies its military presence in the Caribbean by “combating drug trafficking”.
In September and October, US forces repeatedly used their military capabilities to destroy boats near the Venezuelan coast that they claimed were transporting drugs.
