Israeli media: The Mossad participates in the ongoing investigations into the attack that took place in Australia and left dozens of Jewish dead and wounded

The Israeli channel i24 reported that Israeli security agencies, including the Mossad, are taking part in the ongoing investigations into the recent attack in Australia.

The i24 channel reported that the investigation is still in its initial stages, where all possibilities are being examined, without deciding whether the attack was carried out by a local party, or by external parties, including Iran or Hezbollah.

According to the report, Israel, through its security services, led by the Mossad, has in recent months conveyed warnings to international bodies about the presence of “terrorist” infrastructure inside Australia, including structures linked to Iran.

The i24 channel added that against the background of these developments, the Chabad movement and a number of Jewish communities around the world have raised the level of security alert during the Hanukkah candlelight lighting events, in anticipation of any possible threats.
