Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei said that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Seyyed Ali Khamenei and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian are in good health.
In an interview with ABC News, Baghaei added that “diplomacy has been betrayed for the second time in the past nine months,” in response to a question about a possible path to a peaceful solution.
He also considered that the talk about Iran’s nuclear program comes within the framework of a disinformation campaign against Iran, stressing that Iran doesn’t seek nuclear weapons, adding, “We came to these negotiations in good faith and with all seriousness”.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman pointed out that his country bombed countries in the Gulf because the United States is using its territory to launch its attack against Iran.
“This is a war chosen by the US administration… We’re defending ourselves,” he added.
Iran’s Tasnim and Mehr news agencies reported that Khamenei is steadfast, steadfast and leading the field, after the United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran on Saturday.
