After the failure of the German Leopard to make difference… the US Abrams is sent to Ukraine
Strategic Communications Coordinator for the National Security Council at the White House, John Kirby, confirmed on Tuesday that the first batch of Abrams tanks had arrived in Ukraine.
Kirby added, “New shipments of these vehicles are scheduled to be delivered in the coming weeks”.
“This is the first batch of Abrams tanks, and more armored vehicles will arrive here in the coming weeks,” Kirby told CNN on Tuesday.
Former CIA agent Ray McGovern said, Monday, on the “Judge King’s Freedom” YouTube channel, that Abrams tanks will be destroyed in Ukraine.
“Mark my words: you will burn,” he said.
According to McGovern, the US tanks currently in Poland are no better than the British Challenger or German Leopard tanks that were destroyed in Ukraine.
He also recalled the words of the Russian President when he spoke about the fate of armored vehicles.
“As Putin himself said, it will be destroyed,” he concluded.
As Kirby announced, the United States has sufficient funds for military supplies to Ukraine for several more weeks, and additional assistance may be affected without a congressional resolution.
Kirby called on lawmakers to accelerate the passage of $24 billion while conditions on the front line remain, as he says, ripe for a Ukrainian counterattack.
However, it’s unclear whether this agreement will include emergency disaster assistance or assistance to Ukraine.
