Haaretz: Iran and Hezbollah responded with 1,200 rockets since the war began
The Israeli Haaretz newspaper said Friday that Tehran and Hezbollah bombarded Israel with about 1,200 rockets, as part of their response to the war against both Iran and Lebanon.
Haaretz said that Iran increased its use of cluster missiles in the third week of the war, and 15 of them succeeded in distributing bombs in Israel’s airspace, mostly in the center of the country.
“In total, over the past 20 days, Iran has fired 26 cluster missiles, causing destruction in at least 150 locations, including this week two train and bus stations and three planes parked at Ben Gurion Airport,” Haaretz added.
Iran has bombarded Israel with at least 10 rockets a day, with a total of about 400 rockets, while the military said about 340 rockets were fired at Israel.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military declined to provide the exact number of missiles, but said earlier this week that in the first 15 days, Iran had fired about 340 missiles, and since then, no updated data has been provided.
“Since Hezbollah joined the war, Israel, especially in the north, has attacked Israel with about 800 rockets in dozens of attacks a day,” Haaretz said.
