The Israeli Prime minister holds the press conference alone without Gantz and Gallant
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant and War Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz refused to participate in a press conference held by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday evening.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority stated, through its account on X, that Gallant and Gantz refused to attend and participate in a conference held by Netanyahu, without mentioning the reason for this.
Since the formation of the War Cabinet headed by Netanyahu, and including Gallant and Gantz, according to the Israeli media, on more than one occasion there were disagreements between Netanyahu and Gallant on the one hand, and Netanyahu and Gantz on the other hand, regarding the ways of handling with the War on Gaza and the issue of Israeli prisoners detained in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas surprised Israel on October 7 with a large-scale attack on the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip, killing about 1,200 Israelis and capturing dozens.
