The Ansar Allah group announces the end of the truce with the United States and targets a ship for violating the ban on entry to Israeli ports by its owner

The Yemeni Ansar Allah group announced on Tuesday its intention to target major American oil companies, such as Exxon Mobil and Chevron.
Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement announced early Wednesday morning that it had targeted a ship because its owner company had violated the ban on entry into Israeli ports.
The statement read: “In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their dear fighters, in response to the crimes of genocide and starvation perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against our brothers in the Gaza Strip, and in confirmation of the continued ban on Israeli maritime traffic in the Red and Arabian Seas”.
The statement added: “The Yemeni Armed Forces’ naval forces carried out a military operation targeting the ship (MINERVAGRACHT) because its owner company violated the decision to ban entry to occupied Palestinian ports”.
The statement continued: “The targeting operation was carried out in the Gulf of Aden with a cruise missile… The operation resulted in a direct hit on the ship, which caught fire and is now at risk of sinking”.
The statement noted that “our great, steadfast, and struggling Yemeni people continue and will continue to support and aid the oppressed Palestinian people against the crime of the century… The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that their military operations will continue and will not cease until the aggression stops and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted”.
The statement concluded: “The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm the continued imposition of a maritime ban on the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, Bab al Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden, and reiterate their warning to all companies and vessels against violating the previously announced ban”.
The Humanitarian Coordination Center in Sanaa, affiliated with the Ansar Allah forces, reported that it had placed 13 American companies, nine individuals, and two vessels on the group’s sanctions list, according to Al Masirah TV.
The Humanitarian Coordination Center acts as a link between the group’s forces and commercial shipping companies.
The Humanitarian Coordination Center explained, via its website, that the listed entities will be dealt with according to the principle of confrontation, indicating that they are considered hostile entities and vulnerable to attack.
The Yemeni Ansar Allah group has been launching attacks on Israel and vessels linked to it, as well as on the United States and Britain in the Red Sea since November 2023, in response to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.
