Six high-ranking CIA officers killed in UAE following Iranian missile attack
Iranian media reported that six senior CIA officers were killed inside the UAE as a result of an Iranian missile attack on a building said to be belonging to the agency, with two others wounded.
Explosions were also reported in Dubai, Doha and Manama, coinciding with the IRGC’s announcement of the launch of the sixth phase of Operation True Promise 4, which it said included targeting 27 US military bases in the Gulf and Israel.
On the other hand, US President Donald Trump warned Tehran that any further attack would be met with a strong and unprecedented response, stressing his country’s readiness to deal with any escalation.
The Israeli army announced the activation of warning systems in several areas after the detection of missiles launched from Iran, noting that three ballistic missiles were intercepted by air defense systems.
The situation in the region remains a candidate for further tension, in light of the exchange of strikes and the widening of the confrontation between regional and international parties.
