Kushner: The situation in the Gaza Strip after the war is as if a nuclear bomb had exploded there and the scene was extremely sad

Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, described the situation in the Gaza Strip more than a week after his visit to Gaza with US envoy Steve Witkoff, following the ceasefire’s entry into force, saying, “It’s as if a nuclear bomb had exploded there”.
Kushner, who played a role in brokering the Gaza agreement between Israel and Hamas, pointed to the massive destruction in the Strip, adding, “It looked like a nuclear bomb had been detonated in that area, and then I saw people running back… I asked the Israeli army: Where are they going? They told me they were returning to the areas where their destroyed homes were, to their land, to set up a tent over the rubble”.
Trump’s special advisor also emphasized that the scene was extremely sad, especially since everything was in ruins.
He added, “It’s very sad because you think to yourself, ‘They have nowhere else to go'”.
However, Kushner refused to acknowledge that what happened in Gaza was genocide.
