On Monday, Iranian official media reported that two people were killed and several others were injured in a bombing near the shrine of Sayyida Zeinab in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
According to the London based, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an explosion was heard in the Sayyida Zeinab area, south of Damascus, likely resulting from Israeli bombing.
A leader in the pro-Iranian coalition said that the bombing targeted a site used by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
The target was a Hezbollah site, with report of 6 deaths and injuries.
According to sources in Damascus, Israel launched an air attack from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of points south of Damascus, which led to a number of Iranian advisors and other civilians and the occurrence of a number of wounded, in addition to some material losses.
