
A field source announced the outbreak of violent clashes in the early morning hours on Thursday between the US forces and the SDF in the eastern regions of the Euphrates River.
At the same time, the Syrian army and its allies launched an attack from the western side of the Euphrates River.
The source stated that these clashes witnessed the use of a variety of weapons, including medium weapons, heavy artillery, and rockets.
The source indicated that the clashes began after the US aggression on the eastern neighborhoods of Deir al Zour and continued.
In the same context, the US base in the Koniko gas field, east of Deir al Zour, was bombed by missiles and drones, leading to explosions that could be heard echoing in the area, according to a field source.
Also, the US base in the Omar oil field was bombed with six missiles in response to the US army aggression that targeted the eastern neighborhoods of the city of Deir al Zour in the early morning hours, Thursday.
According to field witness, the US base in Omar oil field was again targeted by about 15 missiles, as several US bases was subjected to several attacks within a few hours, knowing that the first bombing was from Iraqi territory.
