Unfolding Former French President Sarkozy investigation

Recent update, on former French president Nicolas Sarkozy’s case, of charges issued on receiving funds for his presidential campaign in 2007 by the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

A French of Lebanese origin Ziad Taqi Al din revealed new details on the case.

Taqi Al din, said during an interview with «France info», he talked about a series of meetings he held, describing Sarkozy’s house in detail, in response to what the former French president said that he hadn’t met Mr. Ziad Taqi Al din since 2004, during investigations.

Taki said «I was there, and I met him… he took the bag and set it aside, he didn’t want to count the money».

Taqi Al din described the place where this meeting took place, which is Sarkozy’s apartment in the Ministry of Interior during his term of service as French Minister of Interior.

«We open the door and find a long salon open all over the house».

Pointed out that «We met in the lobby, next to a small office with a fixed telephone, which Sarkozy used to call the Libyan intelligence director, Abdullah Al Snoussi informing him, he had received the money».

«He is a liar», Taqi Al din added.

«I met him in his apartment, once I met him in Libya, and once again met him in the presence of French Interior Minister Claude Gian».

There are witnesses who attended the meetings”.

«I cannot waste my time responding to these things», he concluded.

«I say that this person is bad and a criminal… we don’t deserve to respond to him».

French President Nicolas Sarkozy, did said in an interview with French television TF1 channel, that he had never met Taqi Al din since 2004 and that he received no money from him”.

Libyan late leader son, Saif Al Islam Al Qadhafi said he had many evidence, including Abdullah Al Sunoussi, former director of Libyan intelligence, and Bashir Saleh Bashir, the former director of Libya Investment Company.

He welcomed the arrest of Sarkozy, and repeated his offer that he could present evidence condemning the former French president, with the support of his father illegal campaign of Sarkozy in the 2007 French presidential election.

On the date of March 21st, French authorities announced the formal indictment of Sarkozy in the case of funding by the regime of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi for his presidential campaign.

The French judiciary last Wednesday put Sarkozy under investigation and denounced the judges for «defamation» and for lack of material evidence behind his detention.
