Turkish Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç called on European countries to take the necessary measures to prevent propaganda activities carried out by terrorist organizations on their soil.

Yılmaz Tunç posted a tweet on Thursday, regarding the storming of the building of the European Court of Human Rights by people linked to the PKK terrorist organization.

Earlier Thursday, people linked to the terrorist organization stormed the court building in Strasbourg, France, with the aim of propaganda.

Yılmaz Tunç described the failure of the relevant authorities to prevent these people from practicing propaganda inside the building as a scandal.

He said that allowing the practice of propaganda from the PKK, which is classified as a terrorist organization by international organizations, especially the European Union, is an illegal act.

He added, “European countries must take the necessary measures to urgently prevent the propaganda activities of terrorist organizations under the name of freedom of demonstration and expression, and put an end to illegal actions on their soil”.

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement that allowing PKK to carry out its activities freely, including propaganda, under the cover of freedom of expression and demonstration, especially in European countries, encourages it to carry out such aggressive and illegal acts.
