Trump Using the Gulf money to Rebuild Syria!

The US President Donald Trump described the aid that Washington wanted to make for the reconstruction of Syria, saying that rich countries in the region must compensate the money for Washington.

“The United States will stop these meager $ 230 million in annual payments to rebuild Syria, and Saudi Arabia and other rich countries in the Middle East will start pushing instead of Washington”, Trump twitted.

Trump said his decision was essentially aimed at “developing the United States, its forces and the countries that help it”.

US State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said that her country had redirected $ 230 million earmarked for Syria for other purposes.

The decision came after Washington received pledges from allied countries to contribute $ 300 million, including $ 100 million from Saudi Arabia and 50 million from the UAE, Nauert said.
