Trump: Ukraine is at risk of destruction if the conflict doesn’t stop

The former US President Donald Trump warned, in an interview with Fox News on Monday, that Ukraine may be destroyed within a year and a half if a solution to the conflict there isn’t reached.

Trump indicated that the Ukrainian crisis may not be resolved before the US presidential elections in 2024, considering that the policy of the current US President Joe Biden’s administration portends the outbreak of a Third World War.

He said: “It’s unbelievable that people in power don’t know what they are doing… If a solution isn’t found, I can do it within 24 hours with the participation of Ukrainian President Zelensky and Russian President Putin”.

Trump continued, “It’ll be a very simple negotiation, but I won’t reveal the essence of it, because then I won’t be able to use these negotiations, and they won’t work”.

He said: “A year and a half separates us from that, which is a very long time… I can’t imagine what could happen during this period… The bottom line is that the war must stop because Ukraine is at risk of being destroyed”.

Trump has previously announced that if he wins the US presidential elections, he can guarantee a settlement in Ukraine in one day, without specifying the method through which he intends to achieve this goal.
