The University of Hohenheim: One of four Germans believes in the conspiracy theory and the existence of secret powers in the world of politics

The results of a study conducted by the University of Hohenheim in Germany revealed that 1 of 4 Germans is convinced that there are secret powers that direct politics, and the belief in conspiracy theory is widespread in the country.
According to the study results, 20% of Germans believe that the media is systematically lying, and more than a third of Germans have a populist right-wing perception of the world in the broadest sense.
The study revealed that 16% of those surveyed supported the official statements which are more like a dictatorial regime than a democratic one.
The study was conducted last July and it included reviews 4024 people holding German passports.
Germens believe that satisfaction with the performance of democracy decreased by ten 10% between 2022 and 2023.
