Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky predicted the fall of the Russian leadership after its defeat in the Kremlin’s war on Ukraine.
“Kiev and all our cities, our whole country Ukraine will put an end to the history of Moscow’s tyranny, which has enslaved many different peoples for a very long time,” Zelensky said in his daily video address.
Zelensky wasn’t seen in a room as usual on this occasion, but in the evening light on the street in front of the presidential office in Kiev.
Zelensky explained that the Ukrainian air defense succeeded in repelling one of the largest Russian drone attacks almost completely since the beginning of the war.
He added that Kiev had survived atrocities throughout its history and would also survive Russian attacks and wouldn’t allow its invasion.
Zelensky said weapons like Iranian drones used in the attack couldn’t save Russia’s rulers, adding that since it despises life and culture, Russia can only lose the war.
