The Russian president excluded the Israeli prime minster from World leaders list which will receive congratulations on the New Year

The Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to exclude Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from the list of World leaders who received congratulations on the occasion of the New Year.

This decision comes in light of the escalation of tensions between the two leaders, especially after the Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip and Moscow hosting a delegation from Hamas movement.

The Russian President sent congratulations to more than 30 leaders and political figures around the world.

It’s noteworthy that for the first time in his years in office, Putin decided to exclude Netanyahu from this list.

This action comes against the backdrop of a harsh 50-minute phone call between the two leaders three weeks ago, in which Putin described the Israeli army’s attacks on Gaza as a massacre.
