According to Israeli media, the forces of the elite Golani Brigade were withdrawn from the Gaza Strip after 60 days of fighting during which they continued and suffered heavy losses.

Israeli Channel 13 reported that soldiers of the elite Golani Brigade had left the Gaza Strip with the aim of reorganizing their ranks.

Last Sunday, the former commander of the Golani Brigade, Moshe Kaplansky, stated that the brigade lost a quarter of its forces during the period that began last October 7, with the number of dead and wounded among its ranks reaching 82 officers and soldiers.

A video was circulated on social media, showing the moment soldiers of the elite Golani Brigade of the Israeli army celebrated their withdrawal from Gaza.
