Sky News presenter embarrassed British Foreign Secretary David Cameron with an unexpected question following the Iranian attack on Israel on Saturday evening.

During the interview, Cameron said that Iran’s attack on Israel was a “reckless act,” so the broadcaster asked him the unexpected question, saying, “What would Britain do if its consulate was razed to the ground?”

Although he was surprised by the question, Cameron replied that the British response in such situations would be very strong, so the presenter cornered him in the corner, saying that this would be the same as the Iranian response to their recent attack.

Cameron previously expressed his hope that Israel wouldn’t respond to the Iranian attack, saying in an interview with Sky News.

“The United Kingdom hopes that Israel won’t respond to Iran; Instead, the world must turn its attention to the actions of Hamas, which continues to… Hostage taking in Gaza”.

Iran launched an air strike on Israel on Sunday night, days after Israel bombed the Tehran consulate in Damascus, while the Israeli army announced that it thwarted the attack and intercepted 99% of the drones and missiles that were launched.
