Russian intelligence: The division will increase in American society after the elections, and there is no interest from Washington to improve its relations with Moscow
The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, announced on Tuesday, that the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service does not see any interest of the United States in improving relations with Russia even after the elections, regardless of the results.
Naryshkin told Russian Sputnik news agency: “As for Russia’s position, we are of course interested in conducting a wider dialogue, developing equal relations and equal cooperation between our two countries.
Unfortunately, however, we do not yet see signs of such an approach in the US political part.
This applies to both the Democratic and Republican parties.
In another context, Naryshkin suggested, the further division of American society, regardless of who wins the presidential elections.
“Our assessments are as follows: the social crisis will deepen regardless of who wins, and it is clear that the losing side will not agree to the results, and this will encourage extremists to take to the streets,” Naryshkin said in an interview with the director of the Russian Sigodnia news agency.
The US presidential elections will be held on November 3, and early voting will take place in a number of states.
