According to Russian TASS news agency, German authorities currently have about 3.9 billion Euros in Russian frozen assets under European Union sanctions.

TASS added in its report that this amount includes the frozen assets of Russian individuals and legal entities included in the sanctions list, such as cash, corporate investments, and yachts, and at the same time, it also includes the assets of the Bank of Russia.

TASS indicated that the number is subject to market fluctuations and also depends, for example, on the exclusion of individuals from European Union lists.

Meanwhile, the Governor of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, said at the end of March that if the West uses the frozen Russian assets, the Bank of Russia will take appropriate measures to protect its interests.

Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said earlier that European banks are aware of the catastrophic consequences that will result from the confiscation of Russian assets, because the repercussions will be truly huge.
