Russia deploys a military police station in the Syrian Golan Heights
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the deployment of an additional Russian military police station in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights region, to monitor the situation there.
Major General Yuri Popov, Deputy Head of the Russian Defense Center for Reconciliation between the Conflicting Parties in Syria, provided, in a statement, information about the situation in the Golan Heights.
Popov said, “An additional Russian military police station was deployed in the Golan Heights region as part of monitoring the situation on the Bravo Line in the area separating the Israeli army from Syria”.
The statement stated that the police station will monitor the appropriateness of resolving disputes between the two parties.
