Reports reveals a horrified number of casualties as a result of an Israeli massacre in al Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza

On Saturday, the government media office in the Gaza Strip accused the Israeli army of killing more than 400 Palestinians and destroying and burning 1,050 homes in the vicinity of the al Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, as it continues to storm and besiege the complex for the 13th day in a row.

The office stated in a statement that the Israeli army committed crimes of destroying, burning, and targeting homes over the course of 13 days of storming the al Shifa Medical Complex.

According to the statement, the number of targeted homes reached 1,050, and the army killed more than 400 people, in addition to arresting and torturing hundreds of patients, displaced people, and medical staff inside and around the al Shifa Medical Complex.

The statement added, “The Israeli occupation army is still detaining 107 patients trapped inside the al Shifa Medical Complex in inhumane conditions, without water, medicine, food, and electricity”.

The statement explained that among the besieged patients were 30 patients and about 60 medical staff working in the complex.

The statement continued, “The Israeli occupation army prevents all attempts to evacuate these patients through international institutions, which puts their lives at risk and in imminent danger”.

The government media office in the Gaza Strip held the US administration, the international community, some European countries, and Israel fully responsible for participating and engaging in the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing carried out by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.

He called on international organizations and Arab and Islamic countries to move out of the box of silence and condemnation and into the box of taking practical positions, real measures, and field action to stop the genocidal war, stop storming hospitals, and stop the destruction of the health sector.

On Thursday, the government media office in the Gaza Strip announced that the Israeli army had executed more than 200 Palestinians inside the al Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City, and arrested about a thousand others, since storming it more than a week ago.

This is the second time that Israeli forces have stormed the hospital since the beginning of the war on Gaza.

The Israeli forces stormed it on November 16, after besieging it for a week, and destroyed its courtyards, parts of its buildings, medical equipment, and the electricity generator.

Since October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip that has left tens of thousands of civilian victims, most of them children and women, with a humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction.
