Pelosi sharply attacked Netanyahu because of his policies, considers him an obstacle to the two-state solution
Former Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Democratic Representative Nancy Pelosi, said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been an obstacle to the two-state solution for years and must resign.
Pelosi explained in an interview on Tuesday that the United States is committed to Israel’s security in all aspects, but it doesn’t agree with the methods that Netanyahu has been implementing since last October 7.
She added, “We must recognize Israel’s right to self-defense… We reject Netanyahu’s policies and practices… What happened is terrible… The destruction in Gaza is enormous”.
She continued, “Netanyahu must resign, as he is ultimately responsible for this”.
Pelosi accused Netanyahu of being an obstacle to the two-state solution, and said, “I don’t know if he fears peace or if he just doesn’t want peace, but he has been an obstacle to the two-state solution for years”.
