The al Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Hamas movement, published, on Saturday, a video of two Israeli prisoners it detained on October 7, demanding the government of Benjamin Netanyahu to release them.

The video included statements by the Israeli Prime Minister in which he said, “Only continued military pressure will lead to the release of all prisoners”.

The video also included statements by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, in which he said, “The more military pressure increases, the greater our opportunity to reach your loved ones”.

During the video, the al Qassam Brigades said in written sentences, “The military pressure exerted by Israel caused the death of dozens of prisoners in Gaza, and deprived the rest of them from celebrating Passover (the Jewish holiday that began on Tuesday and lasts a week) with their families (without clarifying their number)”.

The al Qassam Brigades added, “Your Nazi leaders don’t care about the fate or feelings of your captured children; Realize them before it’s too late”.

In the video, prisoner Segal from the Kfar Azza settlement (near the Gaza Strip) said, “I want to send a message to my family that I love them very much; It’s important for them to know that I am fine, and I hope that you are as well”.

He added, “I’ve very fond memories of Easter last year, which we celebrated together, and I hope that we will have the best surprise possible”.

He continued, “We’re here in danger in light of the bombing, and this is a frightening and terrifying thing that we have been experiencing for a long time, and I wonder until when?”

Segal added, “Sometimes we feel that you have abandoned us. I ask the Prime Minister and all ministers for flexibility in the negotiations”.

He called for “reaching a deal soon, as we feel we are procrastinating, and the deal took a very long time”.

He expressed his hope that “all the prisoners will return to their homes and families very soon, and you will also enjoy being close to your families”.

He said, “I watched the demonstrations several times in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and I want all of you to continue these demonstrations”.

In turn, the prisoner Miran, from the settlement of Kibbutz Nahal Oz (near the Gaza Strip), said, “My dear family, I miss you all, my father, my sister, my brother, my wife Alishai, and my precious daughters, Roni and Alma”.

He added, “This year we weren’t able to celebrate any holiday together because of this heinous war… I hope that we will at least be able to celebrate together on the next Independence Day”.

He continued, “I have been here in Hamas captivity for more than 202 days… We’re living in difficult conditions under violent bombardment, and it’s time to reach a deal that will get us out of here, alive and in good health”.

Miran called on his family to “do everything they can to put pressure on the government in all possible ways, including continuing demonstrations, in order for there to be negotiations leading to a deal now”.

For their part, on Saturday, the families of Israeli prisoners in Gaza gave the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a choice between invading the city of Rafah in the south of the Strip, or concluding an exchange deal with Hamas.
