German poll opinion reveals the percentage of supporters of supplying weapons to Ukraine
An opinion poll in Germany stated that 49% of respondents see the supply of heavy weapons to Ukraine as increasing the risk of conflict between Russia and Western countries.
According to the results, 66% of the respondents have a positive attitude towards the cooperation with the United States on Ukraine, and 28% criticize it, and there are more dissatisfied people in eastern Germany than in the West.
Also the poll shows that 41% of the participants believe that the West should pressure Ukraine to accept regional changes if it can put an end to the conflict, and the same percentage supports helping Kiev to return all lands, including Crimea, while 49% of the respondents believe that the supply of weapons Heavy to Ukraine increases the risk of conflict between Russia and Western countries, and 45% of respondents don’t think so.
The survey was conducted by the German Valen group in Mannheim city, from February 28 to March 2, 2023, with the participation of 1,165 people in the survey.
