Gabbard: Our position on Idlib is a great betrayal

US Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard denounced the US administration’s stance on the events around the Syrian Idlib and saw it as protecting Al Qaeda and its ilk there.

“Two days ago, President Trump and Vice President Pence spoke about the September 11 attacks and talked about their interest in the victims of the Al Qaeda attack on our country, but they are now standing to protect 20,000 to 40,000 Al Qaeda forces”, she told a House hearing.

And other “jihadist” forces in Syria, and threaten Russia, Syria and Iran by military force if they dare to attack these terrorists.

“This is a betrayal of the American people, especially the victims of the 9/11 attacks and their families, the first responders, my brothers and sisters in uniform who were killed or wounded”.
