Final death toll of the Israeli missile strike in Damascus
Twelve people were killed, including Iranian Revolutionary Guard officials, among the them, Hojatollah Amidwar, Ali Aqazadeh, Hossein Mohammadi, and Saeed Karimi.
Israel warplanes targeted on Saturday morning via missile strike, the Syrian Capital, Damascus, when it completely destroyed a three storey building in the Mezzeh, western Damascus.
It worth mentioning that Mezzeh neighborhood, in known to be an area where Syrian security and military headquarters are located, as well as other Palestinian leaders live, embassies, and international organizations.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on Saturday that five Iranian advisors were killed in the raid, which it accused Israel of carrying out, and vowed to respond.
According to the Iranian News Agency, among the dead was the Revolutionary Guard intelligence official in Syria, Hojatollah Amidwar.
Among the dead also seven fighters loyal to Tehran, including four Syrians, two Lebanese and one Iraqi.
