Biden launches a new attack on Putin during an election ceremony in California calling him a crazy
US President Joe Biden described his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, as “crazy,” during a fundraising event Wednesday in California.
Biden gave a brief speech during the event, which was held in San Francisco and was attended by a small group of media professionals, during which he said, “We’ve a crazy harlot like this guy Putin, and others like him, where we always have to fear the outbreak of a nuclear conflict, but the existential threat to humanity is the climate”.
Biden’s use of these strong epithets against Putin follows other occasions in which he described him as a “thug” and a “war criminal,” especially after his invasion of Ukraine.
Biden added that the United States will announce a new tough sanctions package against Russia on Friday due to the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny in prison.
Biden was heard insulting a Fox News journalist and calling him the “SOB” in a slip of the tongue at an open microphone in January 2022.
