Biden didn’t apologize for the US atomic bomb on Hiroshima and calls for preserving the hope of a world without nuclear weapons!
US President Joe Biden became the second US president to visit Hiroshima, and Barack Obama was the first to do so in 2016, without apologizing for the nuclear bombing either.
Biden left a message in the Hiroshima Peace Museum’s visitors book, which commemorates the victims of the US atomic bombing of the city on August 6, 1945.
According to a statement published by the Japanese Foreign Ministry, Biden called for preserving hope in building a world free of nuclear weapons without apologizing for the nuclear strikes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
