Great sacrifices were made by the true free world to defeat Nazism and fascism; Yet, 79 years after the end of World War II, followed by the Cold War era, we still find ourselves, or some of us perhaps, amidst the challenges of a new world war.

What’s astonishing is that one of the sides involved is the same – the source of evil itself remains in the same geographical location: Western Europe, the cradle of Nazism and fascism, despite changes in concepts and perhaps ideologies after the war, the roots remain the same.

In the weeks, and perhaps days, preceding the fall of the Third Reich, as Germany’s “Führer” realized that his dreams turned into nightmares, for him and his people, whom tasted the world population various types of horrors during that war.

Orders were issued to the remnants of the Wehrmacht to stand firm and fight to defend the German Reich’s territories against the advancing Allied forces from both the East and the West.

The Americans, accompanied by the British and Free French forces, continued their advance from the West after the Normandy landings in the summer of 1944, meanwhile, in the East, where the real war was fought as described by historians and experts, where armies numbered in the millions and weapons in the hundreds of thousands, a radical shift occurred after the legendary resilience displayed by the Soviet army for over three years, with sacrifices that Russia will suffer from forever.

The Red Army succeeded in defending and liberating its land, advancing to liberate all of Eastern Europe from Nazism, before the eyes and ears of Hitler and his generals, who witnessed the end of the “Operation Barbarossa” as they heading towards tragedy, as the Red Army is heading now towards Berlin itself.

What was meant in the sentence that we mentioned at the beginning of this article, “the source of evil itself remains in the same geographical location: Western Europe, the cradle of Nazism and fascism, despite changes in concepts and perhaps ideologies after the war, the roots remain the same,” meant is that the doctrine of aggression and evil often emanated from Western Europe, the traditional colonial bloc that occupied and colonized many parts in the world, plundered their wealth for centuries came from Western Europe.

The empires and lunatic dreamers of reviving the glory of the Roman Empire, all came from Western Europe.

From the Monarchs of Europe in the era of the Crusades to the Habsburg dynasty, Napoleon, Charles XII of Sweden, Wilhelm II and Bismarck, then Mussolini and Hitler, they are the same ones who continued with the same actions and adopted the same aggressive methods.

It’s true that the West faced Nazism in World War II, led by then British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, whose efforts succeeded in bringing the United States into the war, which was actually forced to enter after being attacked by the Japanese Empire at Pearl Harbor on December 9, 1941, but the reality of the situation is that their rivalry with Germany was nothing more than a conflict with a rebel from the same family.

The Germans, for their part, knew that their hostility with the West was not based on the principle of extermination.

Hitler considered the West as part of his project; As for the other countries and peoples, especially the Soviet Union, they had no place on the map; they were nothing but lands with wealth and resources that would contribute to building the empire Hitler dreamed of.

Thus, the origin of the problem remains the same, rooted in history and emanating from the same countries.

What is intriguing is that with the end of World War II and the entry of Allied forces into German territories, strict orders were issued to the remaining German forces to stand and fight, however, what’s striking about the form of these orders is that they also reveal the basis and nucleus of evil.

The German leadership issued orders to its remaining forces to fight the Americans, British, and French on the Western front, but they were also informed that if necessary, surrendering and handing over their weapons to them was acceptable.

As for the East, the instructions were similar in the first part, and entirely different in the second.

German leadership’s orders were explicit to all German forces facing the Red Army in the East, urging them to fight to the last man and not surrender… Why?

Even during the Nazi German occupation of Europe, especially France, was the Germans’ approach and style of dealing the same as how they dealt with the Soviet Union?

The answer is No.

It’s true that the word “Nazi” and everything associated with, considered as taboo in Germany today, but the Germanic genes remain hidden, awaiting the right moments for resurgence.

Everyone knows that the seeds of evil take roots in the land that has been.

The forms of aggression – Roman, Crusader, medieval European, Germany in 1914, and Germany in 1939 – are now manifested in a new form of Nazism.

Today, NATO represents the same old image, with same policies and objectives.

And as soon as the American and British wars against Germany ended, the renovation of the structure started.

The European countries persisting in following the same methods and policies, identifying the traditional enemy, whatever its ideology, the Soviet Union was the enemy, on the pretext of being a communism that threatening the West, in the past the Russia Tsardom was also a threat to the traditional thrones and kingdoms of Europe.

For them, the enemy remains the same.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia became the enemy because it didn’t want to be just another sheep.

With the vast expanse of Russia, which has proven in recent years to be resistant to bending despite all the political, military, and economic pressures exerted on, Russia realizes that it will remain the enemy no matter what it does.

Therefore, it has no choice but to stand firm, advance, and ward off aggression before it occurs, no matter the cost; Moscow realized this reality.

Anyone who says otherwise hasn’t read history or understood what transpired, unless they are convinced of this approach.

In that case, they have put themselves preemptively in the position of adversary and enemy, relying on the legacy of their ancestors and their genes.

Therefore, dealing with them as an enemy becomes a legitimate act for the other side, which finds itself besieged and constrained, despite all the concessions and good intentions it has made over the years.

It was not enough to change the aggressive and colonialist intentions.

Continuing to accuse Russia of being the aggressor is inaccurate because it operates on the principle of passing judgment on the reaction, not the action itself that led to it.

What’s ironic today is the state of Europe and how the European public accepts the course of events unfolding around them, especially their direct impact on their personal lives.

On one hand, we find certain European countries blindly succumbing to hostility against Russia, in an unjustifiable manner explained only by historical animosity.

Leaders of countries like Germany, which invaded Russian territories twice within a century, and France, which produced Napoleon, view Russia as the enemy, but they want this enemy to be the victim, the subordinate, the supplier of cheap energy, and an adopter of ideas and values that don’t align with its heritage, history, and culture with the current situation persisting, the true nature of these countries and their leaders has been revealed.

We see, for example, a political party founded on principles of liberal and environmental advocacy, initially supportive of green lifestyles, now flipping between black and red.

It seems that the global opinion of these countries is weary of what’s happening around them and has grown tired of the hypocrisy of their political systems in dealing with international issues, employing what can be described as double standards under a thin veil of fake freedom and democracy.

European public opinion is now turning, using the tools of democracy and the same ballot boxes that brought the National Socialist German Workers’ Party to power in Germany in 1933, to support far-right parties in Europe.

Their influence and strength have become noticeable, and within a short time, the war in Ukraine may not have been the cause, but it was the spark that propelled far-right parties in Europe.

They see their countries’ conditions deteriorating, ruled by figures who are not trustworthy to lead them.

Europe today stands at a real crossroads, where it must choose between ruin and salvation.

If some think that salvation passes through Kiev to Washington, then we have nothing to say but that European public opinion will determine for himself the path.

As for Moscow, the picture remains the same, as it will not initiate aggression or attack, but it will respond to aggression and avoid the evil it is accustomed to facing from the same side and the same parties.

In light of the current situation, it won’t be long before another May 9 becomes a new day of reckoning for the same enemy, even if their nationality and origins differ.
