Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister announces from the UAE that Abu Dhabi and Tehran have agreed to open a new chapter in relations

Ali Bagheri Kani, Iran’s deputy foreign minister for political affairs and chief nuclear negotiator met with two senior Emirati officials on Wednesday during a visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Emirates News Agency reported.

The agency added that Kani met Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the president, in the presence of Khalifa Shaheen al Marar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

Ali Bagheri Kani, Iran’s deputy foreign minister for political affairs and chief nuclear negotiator, said on Twitter on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic and the UAE had agreed to open a new chapter in relations.

Bagheri Kani met with Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE President, in the presence of Khalifa Shaheen al Marar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, during a visit to Dubai.
