Iranian Foreign Minister: We are ready to reach a good nuclear agreement if the negotiating parties fully return to their commitments

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said on Monday, that his country is ready to reach a good nuclear agreement, noting that “this requires the negotiating parties to return to their obligations in full”.

In an interview with his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio, Abdullahian referred to the upcoming talks in Vienna, which will start on November 29, stressing that “all parties have reached a common understanding that America bears the blame and responsibility for the current situation”.

He said that “some parties remained silent in the face of American bids in an irresponsible step that contributed to creating the current situation that cannot be accepted,” declaring that “the new Iranian government is determined to strengthen its cooperation with friendly countries, especially Italy, in an atmosphere based on Mutual respect and based on the possibilities and opportunities available in relations.

He added, “The new government in Iran is a pragmatic government focused on results,” noting that “we have exchanged our views with the negotiating parties and are ready to reach a good agreement, and this requires the negotiating parties to fully return to their obligations”.
