Covid vaccine around the world: 218.9 million people are vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine

Data from Johns Hopkins University of America and Bloomberg News showed on Friday, that 218 million and 900 thousand people around the world have received the first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine.

The data showed that the average global vaccination rate is estimated at 4 million and 560 thousand doses of the vaccine per day.

At this rate, it would take 6 years and 8 months to vaccinate 75 percent of the world’s population with two doses of the vaccine.

The data indicated that the total number of confirmed cases of the virus around the world reached 113 million, while the total deaths reached 2 million and 51 thousand.
